Question 1. I understand the concept but I don't understand how to do the math from 60 million to 3.75X10^6 ? How do you so easily get 1/16?

The key is to count down the half lives. If we start with 60 million, then after one half life we will have 30 million left, after two half lives 15, after three half lives 7.5, and after 4 half lives 3.75 million. That's how we can quickly determine how many half lives must have occurred. Let me know if that helps!aegnanakan wrote:Passage 1
