MCAT Summer Office Hour Schedule

Post by NS_Tutor_Clara » Wed May 15, 2019 2:00 pm

Hello to all current MCAT course students! I have an update about our office hour (OH) schedule, which is changing slightly for the summer months.

Due to increased demand from our students, Next Step is excited to announce our new Summer Office Hours!

Starting June 3rd until August 15th, we will be replacing our normal office hours schedule with the following office hours as follows (all in Eastern Standard Time):

Sunday: 9 - 11pm with Phil Hawkins
Monday: 8 - 10pm with Rylan Smith
Tuesday: 8 - 10 pm with Phil Hawkins
Wednesday: 3 - 5pm with Phil Hawkins
Thursday: 11am - 1pm with Phil Hawkins

We're also excited to introduce our new Office Hours Instructor, Rylan Smith! Here's a little bit about Rylan:

Rylan has undergraduate and graduate degrees in music from the University of Georgia and also completed a post baccalaureate premedical program at the University of Rochester. He earned a 523 (99th percentile) on the MCAT and scored in the 95th percentile or above on every section, including perfect scores on both the Biology and Biochemistry section and the Psychology and Sociology section. Rylan loves teaching and has been working in education since 2005, in positions that include serving as a faculty member at Emory and Georgia State University as well as a graduate teaching assistant at the University of Georgia. He especially enjoys watching his students gain confidence as they master concepts that once seemed difficult or even impossible. In his free time he enjoys playing guitar, reading, and watching college football.

As always, our MCAT Office Hours will continue to be recorded and uploaded to your MCAT Course Account.

If you have any questions, please feel free to email us at or call us at 888-427-7737. We are open 8:00am-6:30pm PST Monday through Friday, and 9:00am-3:00pm PST Saturdays and Sundays.

Thank you for your continued support & best of luck with your MCAT prep!

All the best,
The Team at Next Step Test Prep
