Conjugated vaccines

Post by simsimjoey » Thu Dec 14, 2017 9:26 am

Hi,

I don't understand this concept very well, how can we link a weak antigen with a strong antigen to enhance immune response?
I get strong antigen would induce greater immune response, but i don't see how the linkage works.

Thanks in advance.

Hi simsimjoey, great question! This topic is covered in Chapter 9 of the PCAT Review Book, and there is also information about vaccines you can use to reinforce this concept in the Types of Immunity content review video.

I think this is an area where one of our awesome PCAT tutors would be really helpful! I would recommend setting up a free consultation with one of our Academic Managers who can find out what you are looking for and help find the right match. You can book an appointment here: https://nextsteptestprep.com/pcat-tutoring/ or here: https://meetme.so/NextStepConsultation

Good luck!! :D
