AAMC PT CP Q 35

Why is the relationship between T and R linear? If you look at the chart provided, when T doubles (293-573) the R more than doubles.

Hi there!

For every increase in 100 temperature from the table, the resistance increases linearly along with it.
373K -> 473K, resistance increases by 2.6 Ohms; same for 473K -> to 573K, and then from 573K to 673K as well.

Be careful with simplifying the math too much! 293 to 573 is not just a doubling; instead look for the trends in the data.
