Electron Transport Chain Content Review Video

Postby mcat5122018 » Sun Mar 11, 2018 8:09 pm

I was taking the 3rd quiz of ETC CR video and for question 3, it states "which of the following structures involved in cellular respiration can only carry a single electron at most? Select all of the following that apply." I have attached a screenshot of the question. I do not understand why "the reduced form of NAD" is part of the correct answer choice. I thought the reduced form of NAD meant NADH, which eliminates it as an answer choice to the question because NADH can carrier two electrons at a time.

Thank you for your help!
