Page 18, question 5. Why do you divide the 1.85 in half before solving the triangle?

Hi ntrikoz,

Thanks for the question! I've attached an image that should help explain it. Basically, the idea is that we need to recognize that the overall dipole will bisect the H-O-H bond angle, because we calculate the overall dipole by adding together the vectors corresponding to the dipoles of the two O-H bonds.
