Confused on how the answer is B versus D? How are you supposed to know from the passage that the higher energy goes to higher frequency if they are discussing amplitudes in the passage? Why is it not D, less photons less energy?

The experiment makes sense and I understand how to get the answer. But how do you know it is double-stranded DNA and not single-stranded DNA in the bacterium?

For #1, why wouldn't you be able to say entropy increases because it is going from a gel-ish solution to liquid and becoming more disorder? How are you supposed to know that you have to look at the table if it contradicts that?
