Re: Discrete Science QBook, Physics #1545, pg. 256

Great, thank you! So would it be safe to say that given a problem with two resistors, we should calculate equivalent resistance of the whole circuit and use that to determine current if charge is flowing in all loops?

Discrete Science QBook, Physics #1545, pg. 256

Hi everyone! I was having trouble with the explanation for this question. I know that once a capacitor is fully charged, it acts like a "broken wire" in the circuit, and current doesn't flow through it (?). I thought that after a long time, all the current would be directed through the loop with R1 ...

Chem/Orgo Book Pg. 162, Q7

Hi there, I was hoping someone could provide some clarification for the explanation for questions 7 from the practice passage. I've read through the work and looked back in the chapter where it talks about normality. I understand how 100 ml of RbOH was determined, but can't figure out how the mass w...

Re: Clarification on Chem/Orgo Chapter 6 passage question

Great, thank you.

So to clarify, we can use the stoichiometric coefficients to determine the order with respect to a reactant in the slow step of a multi-step reaction mechanism or if the reaction is stated as being elementary?

Clarification on Chem/Orgo Chapter 6 passage question

Hi there, I was hoping to get some clarification for question number 4 in the practice passage for chapter 6 of the Chemistry and Organic Chemistry book. On page 135, it explains why the rate law for mechanism II is not correct, but how do you know that the rate is first order in both nitrogen monox...
