Can it also be said that, in both cases, anions are always attracted to the anode because that is the site of oxidation and cations to the cathode?

Ch 9 Beta Oxidation ATP Equation

On page 202 of the biochem book, it derives an equation that comes out to be 7n-6=ATP but in lesson 13 pg 364 question 27, Dr. Anthony uses a different equation that I didn't quite follow and am not sure which one to use.

Any clarification would be great.
